Former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage was arrested on Monday over allegations of being involved in fraud when he was a Minister. Aluthgamage was arrested after he appeared before the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) to make a statement over the allegations against him.
