Two patrons at Carowinds face assault charges after an argument about line-jumping at a roller coaster, police say.
Two women were each charged with assault and battery and banned from the Fort Mill-area amusement park following an altercation Sunday night, according to a York County Sheriffs Office report.
The fight started when a 21-year-old York woman reportedly put out her arm to block another woman from cutting in line at the Thunder Road roller coaster.
The other woman, a 17-year-old from Greenville, knocked her arm away and the fight ensued, the report states. Both women were scratched in the fight.
Both were arrested, charged and banned from the park.
