The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man who has twice robbed a convenience store with sharp objects.
The suspect robbed the Popps store on South Lake Drive near Lexington on June 15 with an icepick and again on Aug. 24 with a screw driver, the sheriff's department reported.
In one robbery, he took $150 from a cash register. In another, he took an undetermined amount of bills, a roll of pennies, a handful of quarters and a pack of Dentyne Ice chewing gum.
The same man also had been reported for stealing a case of Budweiser from another store on June 15, the sheriff's reports said.
The sheriff's department has released video footage from a security camera to generate leads on the man's identity.
