The Health Ministry has crafted a new programme to enhance the quality of the Nursing service.
Expressing views on this programme, Minister Maithripala Sirisena said attention should be directed as to how the quality of the service can be improved. He pointed out that along with the development that is taking place in the country, everyone should be embedded with high qualities. It is very vital for the development of the country.
The Minister was participating in a ceremony organized to recruit 84 students to the Nurses Training College at Sri Jayawardenapura. It was the 11th batch which was recruited today to the training school launched in 1999. A three-year training is provided at the school on the nursing service.
