Another UNP parliamentarian pledged support to the government’s proposed constitutional amendments today (3).
UNP Badulla District Lakshman Seneviratne announced his decision to vote for the government’s proposed constitutional amendments in parliament next week. Seneviratne made this comment at a press conference in Colombo.
UNP Polonnaruwa District MP Earl Gunasekera yesterday (2) said he would support the constitutional amendments as well.
Seneviratne now joins two other UNP MPs, Abdul Cader and Gunasekera to vote with the government when constitutional amendments are taken up in parliament next week.
