Vehicles which are unsuitable for operation are being removed from roads. The Hatton Police have already conducted a quality test.
The Police launched a test on the fitness of passenger transport vehicles in the Hatton area today. Nearly 100 buses and vans were checked today. About 20 of them were temporarily removed from service. The Hatton Police said that these can be reintroduced after being subject to another test, within two weeks. The Police further said that action would be initiated to revoke the permits of these vehicles if the owners do not succeed in conforming to the required standards.
