Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has said that a new technique will be introduced to protect forest reserves.
The Minister made this reference at the inauguration of work on a new fertilizer storage facility at Bakamuna. The new complex has the capacity to store the fertilizer required by 2000 farmers who come under the Elahera Scheme.
Many issues cropped up during the past as fertilizer was brought from a distance of more than 100 kilometers to be distributed amongst farmers. The new storage facility will cost 7.5 million rupees.
