South Carolina residents who aren't registered to vote better hurry if they want to cast a ballot in the general election.
Anyone who wants to vote on Nov. 2 must be registered by Saturday. The application deadline also applies to voters who have moved to another county since registering.
People can register by visiting their county board of voter registration or by downloading a voter registration form from scvotes.org. Residents can mail, fax or e-mail the completed form to their county registration office. Mailed applications must be postmarked by Oct. 2. Forms sent by e-mail or fax must be received by that same date.
As of July 1, nearly 2.6 million people were registered to vote in South Carolina.
