High-schoolers falling short on history, science

The song says: Don’t know much about history.
Neither do South Carolina’s high school students.
And apparently, they don’t know much about a science book either.
The state Department of Education released scores on high school end-of-course exams Tuesday. Less than one-quarter of students statewide earned the letter grades “A” to “C” on the history and the Constitution test. And less than half who took the physical science exam scored in the A-C range.
