A 37-year-old Columbia woman has been brought back to Lexington County from North Carolina to face murder charges in connection with the Sept. 22 shooting death of her estranged husband.
Shellie Davis of 220 Algrave Way, Columbia, was brought from the Mecklenburg County jail in Charlotte, the Lexington County Sheriffs Department announced Sunday.
Davis has been recuperating since she shot herself in the head after shooting her husband, Jermaine Davis, 37, once in the back of his head with a pistol, said Lexington County Sheriff James Metts.
