There has been an increase in the usage of ‘landline cordless phones’. The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission has indicated this in its report.
The report says that the usage of cordless phones at the end of the second quarter of this year was 2.615 million. In 2009 the amount was 2.52 million. The report indicates an increase of 3.8 percent in the usage of cordless landlines this year. The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission report says that the usage of cordless phones is widespread in rural areas.
