South Carolina's top federal prosecutor is laying out his approach to handling voter abuse complaints for the upcoming midterm elections.
U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles said Monday that Assistant U.S. Attorney Barbara Bowens is serving as the U.S. Justice Department's watchdog for the Nov. 2 elections in South Carolina.
Bowens will oversee how election fraud and voting rights abuse complaints are handled and will consult with DOJ officials in Washington.
Nettles says FBI special agents are stationed throughout the state to help handle complaints.
