The Cabinet has granted approval to set up an industrial zone in Achchuweli, Jaffna.
The Cabinet has given the nod for the establishment industrial zone to be set up in an area of 60 acres belonging to the Industrial Development Board at Achchuweli in Jaffna. The cost has been estimated as 199 million rupees. The zone will generate many jobs for the youth in the North. Minster Douglas Devananda revealed this information while participating in the Consultative Committee meeting of the Ministry of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development.
