Bennette Ratnayake’s Sinhala film “Ira Handa Yata” will be screeneed at the Indian International Film Festival.
This festival will be staged at Goa in India from the 20th of next month to the 2nd of December. The film, which is now being screened in Sri Lanka, has received an invitation for the Film Festival. It has already won the award for the best film at the Identita International Film Festival in Italy. It has also won a special award of the Jury at the Los Angeles International Film Festival. “Ira Handa Yata” was nominated for the best performance Merit Award at the 23rd International Film Festival in Singapore.
