Dhanuna’s Whereabouts Still Unknown

Oct 30, 2010 8:40:20 AM - thesundayleader.lk

The Colombo High Court was informed by Attorney Asela Rekawa who appeared on behalf of former Army Commander Sarath Fonskea’s son-in-law, DhanunaThilekaratne who is the first accused in the HiCorp case, that though he had received instructions by Thilekaratne he was unaware of his whereabouts.

Rekawa called on the Court that the right of legal representation be granted to him on behalf of his client, Thilekaratne.

Senior State Counsel Damith Totawatta in his submissions had informed Court the prosecution would not object to counsel appearing for Thilekaratne.

High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa had then granted permission to Rekawa to appear on behalf of the first accused in the HiCorp case, Thilekaratne.
