The Ayurveda Expo 2011″ exhibition will be held at the B.M.I.C.H. in July.
The aim is to promote the system of Indigenous Medicine throughout the world. The exhibition is being organized for the third time. Nine other countries participated in the exhibition last year. Minister Piyasena Gamage participating in a media briefing said that the exhibition will also contribute towards the development of the tourism sector. The Minister also launched the ‘Ayurveda Expo 2011’ official website. The exhibition is being organized jointly by the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine and National Chamber of Commerce. It is being sponsored by the Tourist Board and the Economic Development Ministry.
