Sri Lanka youth confident at U-15 Asiad

The Sri Lankan team is confident and hoping to put up a good performance at the Asian Football Cup under-15 Champions Trophy which has been scheduled to be held in Jakartha, Indonesia from 10th to 20th this month.
The pre training and practising camp is in progress at Anuradhapura public ground. The under 15 national team consists of the best players from several parts of the island.
The Sri Lanka Schools Football Association is working hard to bring the youngsters to the international level. The accommodation for the pool had been arranged with the compliments from Namal Rajapakshe and one of the parents of the players bears the cost for food for the 20 boys during the 15 day coaching.
National coach W. Nandasena stated that the parents of the players have given their immense support bearing the necessary cost for the equipment. Assistant coach D. V. Steven said that they are hoping to produce a better performance than last year.
