To save money, the South Carolina Education Lottery will close its Greenville and Mt. Pleasant claims centers next year.
The centers, where lottery players can claim prizes with winning tickets, will close January 14, the lottery said.
Winning tickets for amounts of $100,000 or less can be claimed in person at the Columbia Claims Center at 1309 Assembly St. or by mail at SCEL, P.O. Box 11039, Columbia 29211-1039.
For larger amounts, claims must be made in person at the Columbia Claims Center.
Winnings of $500 or less also can be redeemed at lottery retail locations.
