The World Bank has granted 7.5 million rupees in this connection. Funds will be used to improve sanitary facilities eleven hundred schools. It is reported that the school children suffer from various diseases including stomach problems due to the lack of sanitation. The Provincial Council has decided to improve the hygienic conditions taking the prevailing situation into consideration.
