Minister S.B. Dissanayake has said that he will not permit a minority that spreads violent politics in Universities to deny the right to education of the majority of students.
The Minister said the Rajarata University is functioning satisfactorily. Students should visit the library, participate in English classes and at least 75 percent of the lectures. He said they should attain the international level. The Minister was speaking during a visit to the Rajarata University. The aim of the visit was to address issues releated to the Agricultural Faculty of the Rajarata University and the Training Centre of the Agriculture Department at Pulliankulama in Anuradhapura. Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena accompanied the Minister.
