India has expressed willingness to impart training to Sri Lankan Judges.
The related agreement was inked with the participation of Minister Athauda Seneviratne and India’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Ashok K. Kantha at the Justice Ministry.
Discussions were held on the judicial activities that are in place in the North and East after terrorism was defeated in these provinces. The Indian diplomat pledged to continue supporting Sri Lanka in the development of the judicial network in these Provinces.
In the meantime a meeting between Japan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Kunio Takahashi and Minister Athauda Senevirate took place at the Justice Ministry. Justice Secretary Suhada Gamlath was associated in the discussion.
