Single-car wreck claims life of Camden woman

A 50-year-old Camden woman was killed in a single-car wreck Tuesday afternoon in Kershaw County.
The S.C. Highway Patrol reported that the woman was driving south on Baron Dekalb Road around 4:30 p.m. when her Toyota sedan went off the right side of the road, then over-corrected to the left and struck a tree.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt. She was not ejected from the car but died on the scene from her injuries, Lance Cpl. Josef Robinson said.
An 18-year-old female passenger was taken to Kershaw Medical Center for injuries, Robinson said. The passenger was wearing a seat belt.Map shows location of Baron Dekalb Road
