CES 2010: newest cars rev up their apps

As American car companies fight for their very survival, it seems they are relying on innovative applications to earn back customers. Ford, for one, is upgrading its in-car Sync setup for controlling everything from selecting music to getting directions through a Bluetooth-enabled phone. Part of that upgrade, MyFord Touch, is essentially an entirely new Sync-enabled dashboard.
