School leaders in Fort Mill took steps today to ban synthetic marijuana usage by local youth.
“This is a substance that gives the same affects as marijuana,” Diane Dasher, a Fort Mill school board member, said during a board workshop session today. “It’s more dangerous.”
It smells like spice, officials contend, and can do some damage.
“It’s a scary thing,” Dasher said. “Right now, it’s being sold in convenience stores.”
Think your kids don’t know about “K2” and “Spice?”
