Sri Lanka is placed the 16th position of the American Globe Service Index. This achievement marks the specific triumph of the Sri Lankan Financial Service Index.
Observation has been carried out to testify the supply of business services among the privatized business institutions around the world. In its category Sri Lanka was ranked the 29th position of the observation conducted by the global Service Institute of American in 2007. Sri Lanka marks a significant progression in this year by achieving 16th position defeating 13th position ahead of its previous record within a short period of time. Early index considered the factors related to pre-war results for the 2007 – 2009 period. Economists predict that this year achievement has marked due to a sound economic situation prevailing in the country for the business arena.
