The UNP has said the government needed to explain its stance on the visit of the UN Panel of Experts on Sri Lanka.
UNP parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera told a press conference that the government needed to explain its stance on the Panel and that either Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne or External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris should do so in parliament when it meets next week.
He also said the disorganization within the External Affairs Ministry has reflected badly on the External Affairs Ministry in front of the international community.
