LANCASTER CO. -- An argument about property lines and harvesting trees in rural northern Lancaster County turned into a shootout among three family members.
Two brothers-in-law shot at each other as the argument escalated, and the father of one of the men joined in the shooting, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
Two of the men were wounded during the incident in a wooded area off Shiloh Unity Road, deputies said, and the third has been charged with attempted murder.
All three were armed when the argument turned violent.
Jataune Tyrone Richardson, 34, and Spoffard James Evans, 41, were shot and taken by an emergency helicopter to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, the Sheriff's Office said.
