Pilots of the future step into Grade One

Pilots of the nation who would be taking over the country’s future, step into Grade-One. About 350 thousand children were admitted to Grade One today.

The national ceremony related to Grade One admissions was held at the Dharmapala Vidyalaya in Pannipitiya. It was presided by Minister Bandula Gunawardena. Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Minister Gamini Lokuge and School Principal K.G. Wimalasena joined in this national ceremony organized to mark admissions.

There was another special ceremony organized for Grade One admissions to Royal College Colombo. It was held under the patronage of Principal Upali Gunasekera.

Grade One Admissions to D.S Senanayake College, Colombo took place under the auspices of its Principal D.M.D. Dissanayake.

Grade One students to Isipathana College Colombo was undertaken with the participation of its Principal I.M.K.D. Illangasinghe.

Principal Nandani Ratnavira patronized in the Grade One admission ceremony of Thakshila Maha Vidyalaya, Horona.

Students were also admitted to the President’s Primary College in Nawala. Mahinda Kuruwita, the School’s Supervision MP of the Nugegoda Schools Educational Division and Principal K.G. Samanthi patronized in this event.
