A warship belonging to the Australian Navy has arrived in Sri Lanka.
The ship named “HMAS Melbourne” arrived in the Colombo Harbour this morning on a goodwill visit. The aim of the visit is to strengthen relations between Navies of the two countries. The ship of type FFG is 138 metres in length. The crew consists of 191 Naval personnel. School children were present to witness the ship as it sailed into the harbour. It will be at the harbour till the 27th of this month.
