Sri Lankans living throughout the world have come together to provide relief for the people affected by floods.
A stock of goods contributed by 49 Sri Lankans employed at the Kempinski Hotel in Dubai was handed over to ITN today. It comprises milk powder worth 150 thousand rupees. ITN is receiving aid donated by various state and private sector organizations and private individuals. Several consignments were dispatched to areas such as Batticaloa and Welikande during the past few days. Another large stock is expected to be sent within the next two days. You can participate in the programme by donating dry rations, medicines and clothes to ITN’s main office in Battaramulla or the Marketing division at Baudhaloka Mawatha in Colombo 7.
