Donations are being poured in from all directions for the relief programme launched by the ITN for the flood victims.
Sri Lankans living throughout the world are participating in the programme by making contributions. The donations are being accepted at the main office in Wickramasinghepura or at the Marketing Division at Baudhaloka Mawatha, Colombo Seven. The goods collected by Bresva Welfare Society in Rukmale, Kottawa were handed over to the main office today. The stock comprised milk powder, water bottles and dry rations.
A group of Sri Lankans living in Vienna Austria have also come forward to provide relief. They donated milk powder worth 250,000 rupees. The goods were handed over at the ITN premises.
The employees of the Chief Engineer’s Office of the Electricity Board in the Sabaragamuwa Province handed over the relief material collected by them at the ITN premises today.
