10 petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding alleged irregularities committed during school admissions.
10 cases have been filed against four popular schools in the country. Officials including the Principals of the concerned schools, Zonal Education Directors and Director of National Schools have been cited as respondents. The complainants have said that the defendants have refused to admit their children to schools despite fulfilling the required qualifications. They have requested the courts to issue an order to the effect that their fundamental rights have been violated and to direct the defendants to admit their children to the schools.
