A Sumter man was shot in both legs Monday and the sheriff's office is looking for a suspect.
A witness told the Sumter County Sheriff's Office that a man shot Darius Pollard, of Leslie Drive, Rembert, several times Monday around 2:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Dinkins Mill Road.
The sheriff's office said Pollard was hit once in each leg. He was airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland in serious condition.
Investigators have a suspect in mind in the case, and is looking for him, the sheriff's office said. The suspect left the scene in a small, black pick up truck.
