Lexington County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for the suspect in an armed robbery Tuesday near Irmo High School.
A man wearing blue coveralls and a blue bandanna over his face walked into the Cash Kwik loan business at 6169 St. Andrews Road around 10 a.m.
According to an incident report, a female clerk said she opened the lobby around 10 a.m. When she unlocked the office, the robber was standing in the doorway. She said he pointed a gun at her forehead and forced her into the back of the store while he re-entered the store.
The clerk told deputies the man took an undisclosed amount of cash and rode off on a black or blue mountain bike.
Irmo High School was placed under modified lockdown as a result of the robbery, which closes the campus to visitors, staff and students.
