Two Lexington men, 17 and 18, were arrested on burglary charges in connection to a break in at Oak Grove Elementary in which cash and electronics were stolen.
Sean Michael Davin Pound, 17, of Oak Drive, and Nicholas Patrick Snipes, 18, of Duchess Trail, were charged with second-degree burglary and criminal conspiracy, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department said.
Pound was released from the Lexington County Detention Center on Saturday on $20,000 bail. Snipes remained at the jail Tuesday on $35,000 bail.
According to warrants, the pair are accused of breaking into the school at 479 Oak Drive on Jan. 16 by prying open a classroom window.
Computers and cameras totaling less than $2,000 in value were taken. The items later were found in Pound's and Snipes' possession, the sheriff's department said.
