A Southwest Airlines flight bound for Philadelphia made an emergency landing in South Carolina after reports of smoke in the plane.
Charleston International Airport spokeswoman Becky Beamon says the flight from Orlando diverted to Charleston Wednesday night at about 9:30 p.m. after someone reported smelling smoke on the plane.
Beamon says two mechanics checked out the Boeing 737 but couldn't find any problems.
She says the 138 passengers boarded a replacement plane and flew on to Philadelphia.
The mechanics and flight crew took the original plane to Tampa, where it's scheduled to undergo a full inspection.
