The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has today (31) directed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to seek advice from the Attorney General with regard to the action to be taken against two former members of the LTTE.
The Court has ordered the CID to seek the Attorney General’s advice the action to be taken with regard to the LTTE’s former Media Spokesperson Daya Master and interpreter George Master, who are currently released on bail.
Colombo Chief Magistrate, Rashmi Singappuli had asked the CID to inform court of the Attorney General’s advice.
The CID had informed court that all the investigation reports on Daya Master and George Master have been presented to the Attorney General for advice.
The case is to be taken up again on February 21.
