About 14 elephants and other animals will be offloaded from the circus train on the railroad siding between 400 Assembly St. and 400 Lincoln St., according to a news release.
The animals will then parade to the Colonial Center using the following route: Lincoln Street to Greene Street, left on Greene Street o Gadsden Street, right on Gadsden Street to the University of South Carolina lot behind the Colonial Life Center.
An exact time for the walk will depend on train schedules, but it is expected to be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
