All arrangements are in place for ‘Deyata Kirula’, the annual exhibition that showcases the development of the country.
It will get off the grounds at Buttala in Moneragala on Friday. Chairman of the Exhibition Organizing Committee Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said they expected more than three million visitors. All facilities will be extended to the visitors. Students in school uniform can enter the exhibition grounds free of charge. The Exhibition will continue until the 10th of this month and it will be open to the public from the morning till midnight. The Public sector has put many stalls. There are also stalls put up by the Armed Forces and the Police. A separate zone has been allocated for media establishment. All media establishments will have stalls in this zone. Construction of the exhibition stalls is nearing completion. These are being put up to attract visitors to the Exhibition. Security has also been stepped up in the area.
