A school bus driver has been put on leave without pay after a wreck that injured three students.
Anderson School District 5 officials say 44-year-old Gerry Dee Head was put on unpaid leave after the wreck Tuesday afternoon.
Highway Patrol officials say Head was trying to turn left when she collided with a sports utility vehicle. Troopers cited her for failing to yield right of way.
Head, the SUV driver and three students on the bus were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Five other students on the bus were not hurt.
