A spokesman for the LTTE Coordination Committee in Germany has been indicted on terrorism charges by the federal justice authorities.
The Court ordered the Police to carry out further investigations into the suspect named W. Gilan who now holds German citizenship. Prosecutors said he collected funds, distributed hand bills, organized the Tamil people and purchased and sent military equipment to Sri Lanka. The value of military equipment bought by the suspect is more then 500,000 US dollars. . Three other members of the LTTE coordination committee in Germany were earlier arrested and indicted.
