It's the height of the flu season in South Carolina and health officials say folks seem to be coughing and sneezing even more along the coast.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reports that through January, the number of flu cases has been higher in emergency rooms along the coast than elsewhere.
Bob Behanian with the Trident Health System says while December was quiet, flu increased last month and has been even higher the last several weeks.
