But lately, patrons of Golds Gym on Forest Drive have experienced a new side effect having their cars burgled during workouts.
My car was one of three that had been broken into (Monday) morning in the gym parking lot, wrote a Golds member to The State today. My window was busted and my purse was stolen. My wallet, cell phone, digital camera, library book and everything else in my purse are gone. My purse was tucked down in back behind the drivers side seat and covered with a coat.
Forest Acres police chief Gene Sealy confirmed the three Monday car break-ins at Golds Gym on Forest Drive.
