The camps set up for the displaced have dropped. The Disaster Management Centre said that relief programme is continuously in place.
Assistant Director of the Disaster Management Centre Pradeep Kodippili said that the number of camps established to house families displaced by floods has come down to 523. He said 121,035 displaced are still housed in camps. 3576 houses are totally damaged while 23,156 houses are partially destroyed. He said the Disaster Management Ministry has allocated the funds required for relief operations.
