The Court of Appeal has said it would continue to hear the writ application filed by former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka against his removal from parliament.
The Court of Appeal has unanimously decided that they will proceed to hear Fonseka’s petition.
The petition is to be heard on May 3, 4 and 9. The case was today taken up by Court of Appeal judges Ranjith Silva, A.W. Salam and Upali Abeyratna.
