Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe is scheduled to address the 16th session of the Human Rights Commission this afternoon to disclose the true facts about Sri Lanka.
The 16th Session of the UN Human Rights Commission got underway in Geneva today. Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe will address the session at 4.00 p.m. The Sri Lanka delegation is led by Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe. It consists of Attorney General Mohan Silva and Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Geneva Shanuka Seneviratne. The Minister will clarify the actual situation with regard to the resettlement in the North and East and its success.
The Minister had also had discussions with UN High Commissioner Navaneetham Pillai. The participation of a number of Heads of State in the session is a notable feature.
