Another 106 LTTE cadres have been handed over to their relatives after rehabilitation.
The handing over to the relatives of these LTTE cadres who surrendered to the forces during the humanitarian operations, took place in Vavuniya today. The event was held under the patronage of Commissioner General for Rehabilitation Sudantha Ranasinghe. 26 cadres who had successfully completed a pre-school training course received certificates. Among those entrusted to the relatives was a female cadre who had successfully faced the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination to gain University admission. These ex-LTTE cadres expressed their gratitude to the Government and the authorities who rehabilitated them.
