Kershaw County deputies arrested a 25-year-old Camden man after a drive-by shooting earlier this week in which another Camden man was shot in the leg.
Terrance Harrell, 25, is charged with attempted murder, trafficking crack cocaine and discharge of a firearm into a dwelling, said Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, a man drove by a Kings Avenue residence and fired at least nine bullets from a .40-caliber pistol into the residence, Matthews said.
The man who was shot in the leg was treated at a local hospital and released.
Later Tuesday, after another shooting at Harrells house in which Harrell was the intended victim, deputies found a large quantity of cocaine and marijuana in the home, Matthews said.
