The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development has crafted a successful programme to get students who do not succeed in all three subjects at the Advanced Level Examination, involved in the development programmes.
The Minister was addressing the inauguration of a series of Post Advanced Level Operations seminars at the Galle Town Hall. It is being organized countrywide with the involvement of the National Youth Brigade and the guidance of the National Human Resource Development Council. The Seminars are being held targeting 23 thousand 420 students who had been unsuccessful at last year’s Advanced Level Examination. Programmes will be held in several stages to enhance their professional and technical knowledge. Galle Mayor Methsiri de Silva and Rangers of Youth Brigades were present at the launching of the seminars.
