The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has today (7) ordered that over 100 former LTTE members be sent to be rehabilitated.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Attygalle has said that 118 former LTTE activists should be sent to the Poonthottam rehabilitation center to be rehabilitated.
Attygalle has said that the former activists should be rehabilitated for a period of one year at the rehabilitation center.
Twenty three female activists are also among the 118 former LTTEers sent for rehabilitation.
The Magistrate’s order was delivered following a recommendation made by the committee appointed by the Attorney General to investigate into their condition.
